Backyard Habitat & Beautification Project
Serving to enhance the gardens of the Club house
Members of the Environment Committee embarked on a Backyard Beautification Project to enhance and improve the gardens surrounding the historic coral rock clubhouse. Plans are to create a backyard habitat with a coral rock water feature and native plants to attract birds and butterflies.

Volunteers’ hard work filled the front garden beds with native and flowering plants, and created a pine rockland in the front corner with donated Dade County pines, saw palmettos and coonties. Through fundraising efforts, the goal is to plant and maintain a wildlife garden to help reestablish healthy and diverse animal habitats and ecosystems in the Grove, where visitors can enjoy a true South Florida garden.
